Our Story
Cooking isn’t just a hobby or profession for me.It is a passion.I love making all kinds of delicious food for anyone even remotely interested in a fresh, homemade meal. I’ve often had people ask me why I don’t start a business and, considering the current trends and the demand for homemade food, now seemed like a good time to do that. I started Noor Jehan’s Kitchen on a small scale in the Ramadan of 2018 and I’ve been planning to take it to the next level ever since. Now, with an official, concrete platform, my goal is to make Noor Jehan’s Kitchen a healthier, traditional alternative to the greasy fast food that has become a common deliverable food choice today. Born and raised in India, I carry a lot of traditions with me, and that includes those in the kitchen. Although I didn’t step away from my education, I haven’t had a professional career and I’ve spent most of my days tending to my home, which means I’ve spent a considerable amount of time in the kitchen. The main theme of my cooking comes from these traditions and all the time spent in the kitchen perfecting them. All my dishes are made with fresh and reliable ingredients with a personal touch in the recipes to give them a distinctive taste. Along with the food, I serve the peace of mind that every meal you have with us is prepared by gentle, nurturing hands, using the best materials available.
